dc.description.abstractTato práce se věnuje teorii environmentální politiky a aplikaci této politiky na stát Island. Důraz je kladen na nejdůležitější faktory, které ovlivnily vývoj a charakter environmentální politiky Islandu. Zatímco první část práce se soustředí na teoretický koncept environmentální politiky, druhá část se věnuje vývoji environmentální politiky EU a severských států a jejich vlivu na environmentální politiku Islandu. Třetí část práce se věnuje vývoji islandské environmentální politiky. V této části jsou popsány problémy spojené s rybářským a energetickým průmyslem na Islandu a jak se s výzvami těchto odvětví vypořádala islandská environmentální politika. Poslední část práce je zaměřena na téma finanční krize, která zasáhla Island v roce 2008 a na možné spojení této krize s environmentální politikou.cs
dc.description.abstract-translatedThis thesis deals with the theory of environmental policy and with its application on the state of Iceland. The emphasis is placed on the most important factors that influenced the development and character of environmental policy of Iceland. While the first part of the thesis is focused on the theoretical concept of the environmental policy, the second part is focused on the development of environmental policy of the EU and Nordic countries and their influence on the environmental policy of Iceland. The third part of the thesis deals with the development of environmental policy in Iceland. In this part the thesis also describes problems connected with fishing industry and energy industry in Iceland and how the environmental policy of Iceland dealt with these challenges. The last part of the thesis is focused on the topic of financial crisis that hit Iceland in 2008 and a possible connection between the crisis and environmental policy.en
