| dc.description.abstract | Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá problematikou umírání v domovech pro seniory z pohledu sociálního pracovníka. Cílem je zjistit, jakým způsobem se sociální pracovníci v těchto zařízeních vyrovnávají s úmrtím klientů. Respektive jak se s touto situací vyrovnávali poprvé a postupem času, jaké strategie využívají ke zvládání úmrtí klientů a jak si udržují duševní hygienu. Teoretická část se věnuje tématům stárnutí, smrti, truchlení, roli sociálního pracovníka v domovech pro seniory a sebepéči sociálních pracovníků. Praktická část je založena na kvalitativním výzkumu, konkrétně na polostrukturovaných rozhovorech se šesti sociálními pracovnicemi z domovů pro seniory. Data byla analyzována pomocí tematické analýzy a výsledky výzkumu poukazují na odlišné zkušenosti respondentek. Způsob, jakým smrt klienta prožívají a zvládají, závisí na jejich osobnosti, délce praxe, zkušenostech i dostupné podpoře. Zároveň se však v jejich výpovědích objevují i určité společné znaky. | cs |
| dc.description.abstract-translated | This bachelor thesis deals with the issue of dying in homes for the elderly from the perspective of a social worker. The aim is to find out how social workers in these facilities cope with the death of clients. Specifically, how they dealt with this situation the first time and over time, what strategies they use to cope with client deaths and how they maintain mental hygiene. The theoretical part focuses on aging, death, grieving, the role of the social worker in nursing homes, and self-care for social workers. The practical part is based on qualitative research, specifically semi-structured interviews with six social workers from homes for the elderly. The data was analysed using thematic analysis and the results of the research highlight the different experiences of the respondents. The way they experience and manage the death of a client depends on their personality, length of experience, experience and available support. At the same time, however, certain commonalities emerge in their accounts. | en |
