dc.description.abstractBakalářská práce se zabývá problematikou jakobitských povstání v 18. století, jejich příčinami a důsledky. V práci jsou popsány napjaté anglo-skotské vztahy, z nichž rebelie pramenily a následná cesta plná pokusů o restauraci katolické dynastie Stuartovců na anglický, později britský trůn. Hlavní důraz je kladen na dvě významná povstání z let 1715 a 1745, která pod vedením Jakuba Františka Stuarta a Karla Eduarda Sturta, měla největší šance na úspěch.cs
dc.description.abstract-translatedThe bachelor thesis deals with the problems of Jacobite risings in the 18th century, their causes and consequences. In thesis is described tense in Anglo-Scottish relationships, from which the rebellions originated, and the subsequent way full of attempts to restore the catholic dynasty of the Stuarts to the English, later British throne. The main emphasis is put on the two major risings of 1715 and 1745, which, under the leadership of James Francis Stuart and Charles Edward Stuart, had the greatest chances to succeed.en
