dc.description.abstractKdyž přišli první křesťané do Irska, položili základy procesu, během něhož se pohanské a křesťanské prvky smísily do jedné specifické odnože křesťanství - keltského křesťanství. Tato práce se zabývá tímto procesem. Na začátku je čtenáři přiblíženo keltské předkřesťanské náboženství. Následně historický přehled zahrnující kořeny mnišství a křesťanství na Britských ostrovech. Vše vyvrcholí v poslední části, kdy jsou ukázány původní předkřesťanské symboly a tradice, však zasazené do nové křesťanské mytologie.cs
dc.description.abstract-translatedAt the times when first Christians came to Ireland, it started the process of transformation paganism and Christianity into one specific religion celtic Christianity. Celtic Christianity was made by syncretism of old pagan traditions and Christian mythology. This thesis introduces religion of irish Celts before came of Christians to this island. Then there are described the origins of local christianization. First Christians was so weak to fight against irish pagan gods and old traditions. That's why the old celtic traditions stayed even after process of Christianization of Ireland. Old pagan traditions were covered by new catholic mythology and we can find them in irish culture even at these days. At the end of this thesis old traditions and symbols are compared with early christians.en
