dc.description.abstractTato diplomová práce se zabývá problematikou umělého přerušení těhotenství a eutanazie z pohledu Evropského soudu pro lidská práva. Cílem je analyzovat, jak judikatura ESLP ovlivňuje právní rámce členských států Rady Evropy v otázkách začátku a konce života. Práce představuje historický vývoj obou institutů, vysvětluje jejich právní a etický kontext a rozebírá klíčové judikáty týkající se článků 2, 3 a 8 Evropské úmluvy o ochraně lidských práv. Dále je provedena komparace národních právních úprav vybraných evropských států. Diplomová práce poukazuje na komplexnost tématu, které vyžaduje vyvážený přístup mezi ochranou lidské důstojnosti, svobodné volby a společenského zájmu.cs
dc.description.abstract-translatedThis thesis addresses the issue of artificial termination of pregnancy and euthanasia from the perspective of the European Court of Human Rights. The aim is to analyse how the case law of the European Court of Human Rights influences the legal frameworks of the Council of Europe member states on beginning and end of life issues. The paper presents the historical development of both institutions, explains their legal and ethical context and discusses key case law relating to Articles 2, 3 and 8 of the European Convention on Human Rights. It also compares the national legislation of selected European countries. The thesis highlights the complexity of the topic, which requires a balanced approach between the protection of human dignity, free choice and the social interest.en
