dc.description.abstractDiplomová práce se zabývá problematikou euthanasie z pohledu Evropského soudu pro lidská práva. Za tímto účelem je v práci nejprve vymezen historický vývoj euthanasie. Poté jsou vymezeny jednotlivé pojmy, jako je aktivní a pasivní euthanasie nebo asistovaná sebevražda. V dalších kapitolách je stručně popsána právní úprava euthanasie ve vybraných státech Evropské unie včetně České republiky. Druhá polovina práce je zaměřena na analýzu jednotlivých rozhodnutí Evropského soudu pro lidská práva, jež se k dané problematice vztahují.cs
dc.description.abstract-translatedThe thesis deals with the issue of euthanasia from the perspective of the European Court of Human Rights. For this purpose, the thesis first defines the historical development of euthanasia. In the next chapters are defined terms such as active and passive euthanasia or assisted suicide. The following chapters briefly describe the legal regulation of euthanasia in selected European Union countries, including the Czech Republic. The other half of the thesis is focused on analysis of individual decisions of the European Court of Human Rights that are related to the issue.en
