dc.description.abstractCílem kvalifikační práce je zmapovat charakter politických procesů v období vývoje komunistického režimu po srpnu 1968, tzv. normalizace. Ilustrovat jej na příbězích lidí, kteří byli perzekuováni za to, že svobodně projevovali své názory, které nebyly v souladu s oficiální režimní rétorikou. Těžiště práce spočívá v detailní analýze tří nejvýznamnějších politických procesů z konce 70. let: procesu s hudební skupinou Plastic People of the Universe, procesu s představiteli Výboru na obranu nespravedlivě stíhaných (tzv. "Pražský proces 1979) a v neposlední řadě se soustřeďuje na politický proces s disidentem, politickým vězněm a mluvčím Charty 77 Jaroslavem Šabatou. Uvádí i další případy českých občanů čelících politické perzekuci.cs
dc.description.abstract-translatedThe subject matter of the thesis is "Political trials in Czechoslovakia in the period of normalization in the years 1969-1989. The objective of the thesis is to map and describe the character of political trials and rigged legal proceeding in the period of communist regime in Czechoslovakia after August 1968, so-called "normalization". The author illustrates its nature on people´s life stories. They were persecuted (and cosequently prosecuted) for free expression of their ideas which were not in accordance with official pro-regime rhetoric and way of thinking and action. The thesis provides analysis of three major political trials from late 1970s: trial with Czech musical "underground" band Plastic People of the Universe, legal proceedings with members of the Committee for the Defense of the Unjustly Prosecuted (Výbor na obranu nespravedlivě stíhaných - VONS), so-called "The Prague Trial 1979" and last but not least political trial with the disident, prisoner of conscience and speaker of Charter 77 movement Jaroslav Šabata. It also gives examples of other Czech citizens facing persecution.en
