| dc.description.abstract | Disertační práce pojednává o problematice výběru materiálů v průběhu konstrukční fáze životního cyklu produktu. Obecná část disertační práce vysvětluje principy konstrukčního procesu. Z této části vyplývá, že materiál ovlivňuje velmi podstatnou část celkových vlastností produktu a to včetně jeho celkové ceny. Přesto dosud výběr materiálů probíhá nesystematicky. Těžištěm disertační práce je objasnění metodiky výběru materiálů. Výběr materiálů je postupně veden na základě konstrukčních požadavků. Ty se převedou na funkci, omezení, cíle a volné proměnné. Omezení nastavují meze vlastností materiálů. Cíle definují materiálové indikátory, pro které se hledají extrémní hodnoty. V disertační práci je vysvětlen princip odvození materiálových indikátorů. Metodika výběru materiálů je v disertační práci vyzkoušena na příkladu výběru optimálního materiálu pro rám jízdního kola. V této části práce je ještě vysvětlen princip tzv. tvarového faktoru. Tvarové faktory jsou měřítka efektivnosti užití materiálů. Cílem disertační práce je rozšířit dosavadní metodiku "Systémového navrhování technických produktů" o metodiku "Systémového výběru materiálů v průběhu navrhování technických produktů". | cs |
| dc.description.abstract-translated | The thesis deals with the selection of materials during the design phase in the life cycle of a product. The general part of the thesis explains the principles of the design process. From this it follows that materials have a considerable influence on the overall properties of a product, including total cost but, despite this, the selection of materials has until now been unsystematic. The core of the thesis is the clarification of the methodology for materials selection. Materials selection is conducted on the basis of design requirements. These are converted to functions, constraints, objectives and free variables. Constraints set the limits of the material properties. The objectives define the material indices for which extreme values are sought. The thesis explains the principles for the derivation of material indices. The methodology for materials selection is tested on the example of the selection of the optimal material for a bicycle frame. This part of the thesis also explains the principle of the 'shape factor'. Shape factors are gauges of the efficiency of the material used. The goal of this thesis is to expand the existing methodology 'Systematic design engineering' to 'Systemic materials selection during the design of a technical product'. | en |
