dc.description.abstractBakalářská práce zachycuje problematiku globálních norem spadajících do kategorie soft law, jejichž primárním cílem je regulace chování nadnárodních korporací v souladu s principy korporátní společenské zodpovědnosti. Práce sleduje proces životního cyklu norem v rámci analýzy dvou případových studií kooperace aktérů ze soukromého a veřejného sektoru, jmenovitě Kimberleyského procesu a Extractive Industries Transparency Initiative. Ze strukturálního hlediska práce reflektuje všechny tři etapy životního cyklu se zvláštním důrazem na roli a funkci nadnárodních korporací, které jsou dále zasazeny do kontextu vztahů s participujícími nevládními organizacemi, státy a mezinárodními vládními organizacemi. Výzkum potvrzuje vysoce ambivalentní postoj korporací vůči příslušným iniciativám a zároveň odkrývá několik faktorů majících klíčový dopad na efektivitu a celkovou úspěšnost zkoumaných partnerství.cs
dc.description.abstract-translatedThe bachelor´s thesis pictures the issue of global norms falling into the category of soft law, whose primary aim is to regulate the behaviour of multinational corporations with regards to principles of corporate social responsibility. The thesis follows the process of norm life cycle in pursuance of analysing two case studies of the cooperation between the private and the public sector, namely the Kimberley Process and the Extractive Industries Transparency Initiative. From a structural perspective, the thesis reflects all three stages of the life cycle by putting special emphasis on the role and the function of multinational corporations, which are furthermore set into the context of the relationships with participating non-governmental organizations, states and international governmental organizations. The research proves a highly ambivalent attitude of the companies towards corresponding initiatives revealing several factors having a key impact on the efficiency and overall success of the examined partnerships.en
