dc.description.abstractTéma mé bakalářské práce je Historie porodní asistence v evropském kontextu. Jedná se o historicko-srovnávací práci, ve které je zmapován vývoj profese, pravomocí, povinností a postavení porodních asistentek na polí zdravotnickém i společenském, a to od prvopočátků po současnost, se zvláštním přihlédnutím k vývoji v 17. a 18. století, v období raného novověku. V práci je popsána osobnost, péče, vlastnosti a znalosti porodní asistentky, dále jsou připomenuty nejvýznamnější osobnosti porodní asistence a jejich pojetí ošetřovatelské péče o těhotnou, rodičku a šestinedělku. Práce se také zabývá základními rozdíly v přístupu a péči lékařů a porodních asistentek a připomíná evropské porodnické školy a zdravotnické instituce, ve kterých došlo spolu s vědeckým pokrokem k novému pojetí porodnictví.cs
dc.description.abstract-translatedThe topic of my bachelor thesis is related to History of midwifery in the European context. It is a historical-comparative thesis that explores the development of profession, competences, obligations and positions of midwives in the medical and social area from the beginning to the present with the particular reference to the development in the 17th and 18th centuries, in the early modern period. The thesis describes personality, care, qualities and knowledge of midwife, as well as the most significant persons in midwifery and their concept of nursing care of woman during pregnancy, labour and postnatal period. The thesis also deals with the basic differences in approach and care of doctors and midwives and includes European obstetric schools and health care institutions that have come, along with the scientific progress, with the new concept of obstetrics.en
