dc.description.abstract-translatedThis paper attempts to present a case in which there was a serious failure of control mechanisms when intervening in the upbringing of minors. The case will be related to the film Who’s Next? directed by Miro Drobny from 2018, which was presented as the first school film focusing on the themes as cyberbullying, killfile-selfie and online sexual blackmailing. However, Slovak law does not recognize the term school film. Moreover, the film in question proved to be unsuitable for the target category of children of second degree at elementary school. The control mechanisms proved to be totally ineffective. In the subsequent enforcement of liability, the intervention of the public authorities was delayed and without the necessary preventive purpose of the sanction imposed. In this paper we want to point out the shortcomings of the current legislation, the lack of control and au thorization mechanisms for the so-called school film performances. And problem atically, the way of imposing liability in case of failure of these mechanisms. The main purpose of the paper is to propose an effective way of assessing, controlling, and holding accountable similar cases
