dc.description.abstractBakalářská práce se zabývá problematikou období pacientova života krátce po nasazení fixního ortodontického aparátu. V teoretické části popisuji význam a cíle ortodoncie, jaké jsou součásti fixního ortodontického aparátu a fáze léčby. V další kapitole píši o subjektivním vjemu jako je bolest a věnuji se též ústní hygieně. Zároveň se zmiňuji o edukaci, která je důležitým článkem ortodontické léčby. V praktické části zjišťuji, zda pacientům vadí fixní rovnátko v běžném životě. Dále zkoumám, jestli pacienti vnímali po nasazení fixního rovnátka bolest zubů a zda měli ve fázi adaptace problém s odřenými tvářovými sliznicemi. V mém výzkumu se zaměřuji též na edukaci o ústní hygieně. Na konci shrnuji výsledky své práce a doporučení pro praxi.cs
dc.description.abstract-translatedIn my Bachelor´s theses, I am concerned with the period of a patient´s life shortly after he has been given a fixed orthodontic appliance. In the theoretical section, I address the importance and aims of orthodontics, describe the individual components of a fixed orthodontic appliance and classify individual stages of treatment. The subsequent chapter is dedicated to individual sensations, such as pain; and also to oral hygiene. I then deal with the issue of education, which plays a key role in orthodontic treatment. In the practical part of the thesis, I try to find out if a fixed brace represents an obstacle in patients´ everyday lives. I research if patients were experiencing pain after being given fixed braces and if they suffered any problems in relation to damaged buccal mucous membranes in the adaptation period. I also focus on education pertaining oral hygiene. In conclusion, I summarize the results of my thesis and present recommendations for practice.en
