| dc.description.abstract-translated | Although predictive models are an excellent tool for identifying financial distress, they are not widely used in business practice. Despite all the objections, it will make it possible to prevent adverse effects and adapt managerial decisions to the impending crisis. However, their suitability is determined, among other things, by changes in time and specific economic conditions. This paper aimed to find out how Gurčík's G-index is used in the scientific literature, how its predictive power is evaluated, and what are the conclusions and impacts of studies that used this model. The conclusions of some studies point out that changes in the economic environment over time can reduce the predictive ability of older models and suggest redefining the boundary points of the model so that its predictive ability better corresponds to the conditions of current agriculture. | en |
