dc.description.abstractHistorie zaniklých obcí na Tachovsku, zejména pak život obyvatel v těchto obcích, je dodnes zahalen tajemstvím. Náhled do běžného života zde žijícího, převážně německého obyvatelstva, ukazuje jeho každodenní problémy, s nimiž se v pohraničí Českého lesa muselo vypořádávat. Pohled do církevního, spolkového a hospodářského života zdejších zaniklých obcích svědčí o tom, jak bohatý a aktivní byl tento region ještě před 2. světovou válkou. Zásadní vliv na neblahý osud dané oblasti mělo připojení regionu k Třetí říši po podpisu Mnichovské dohody, poválečný odsun německého obyvatelstva a následné budování železné opony. Tyto faktory zanechaly na zdejší krajině nesmazatelnou stopu, s níž se vypořádává dodnes.cs
dc.description.abstract-translatedThe history of the defunct villages in the Tachovsk Region, especially the life of the inhabitants in these villages, is still shrouded in mystery. An insight into the everyday life of the predominantly German population living here shows their daily problems that had to be dealt with in the borderlands of the Bohemian Forest. A look into the ecclesiastical, associational and economic life of the defunct local communities shows how rich and active this region was even before the Second World War. The annexation of the region to the Third Reich after the signing of the Munich Agreement, the post-war deportation of the German population and the subsequent construction of the Iron Curtain had a fundamental influence on the unfortunate fate of the area. These factors left an indelible mark on the local landscape, which is still being dealt with to this day.en
