dc.description.abstractTato diplomová práce se zabývá pojetím bikameralismu v České republice a významem existence druhé komory. První část se zabývá bikameralismem jako takovým. Je zde vysvětlen pojem, jeho původ a význam. Další část se soustředí na historický vývoj českého parlamentarismu. Další dvě části rozebírají fungování jednotlivých komor parlamentu a jednotlivými aspekty jež obě komory ovlivňují. Poslední část se zabývá vztahem Poslanecké sněmovny a Senátu. Také se zabývá vztahy k dalším součástem ústavního systému. Tato část je zakončena úvahami nad dalším možným vývojem Parlamentu České republiky a možnými změnami jež by mohly zlepšit jeho fungování.cs
dc.description.abstract-translatedThis thesis focuses on bicameralism in the Czech Republic and importance of second chamber of parliament. First chapter is about bicameralism itself. It explains meaning, significance and historical roots of bicameralism. Next chapter focuses on historical development of Czech parlamentarism. Next two chapters analyze functioning of both chambers and aspects that influence it. Last chapter is about relationship beetween the Chamber of Deputies and Senate. It also fucises on relations to other parts of Czech constitutional system. This section concludes with reflections on the further development of the Parliament of the Czech Republic and possible changes that could help to improve its functioning.en
