| dc.description.abstract | Cílem této práce je statistické zpracování výsledků soutěží v ledním hokeji. Pomocí základní statistické analýzy identifikujeme rozdíly mezi jednotlivými soutěžemi. Zjišťujeme, zda se jev averze ke ztrátě, pocházející z ekonomické teorie rozhodování, objevuje také v oblasti sportu (v ledním hokeji). Navrhli jsme hypotézu, kde testujeme, zda je počet vstřelených gólů ve všech třetinách stejný. Druhá námi navržená hypotéza porovnává dvě skupiny utkání. Testujeme, zda je průběh zápasu ve třetí třetině rozdílný pro utkání s remízovým a neremízovým stavem po dvou odehraných třetinách. Výsledky obou těchto hypotéz se pokoušíme vysvětlit pomocí averze ke ztrátě. Poslední navržená hypotéza se zabývá změnou pravidel v české extralize. Od sezony 2000/2001 je zaveden tříbodový systém ohodnocení vítězství týmu v základní hrací době. Zkoumáme, zda měla tato změna vliv na herní projev týmů v poslední třetině. | cs |
| dc.description.abstract-translated | The aim of this thesis is a statistical analysis of ice hockey leagues' results. We identify the differences among the major leagues. We examine if the phenomenon of loss aversion (coming from decision theory) appears also in sports area (ice hockey). We formulate a hypothesis, whether the number of goals in each period of the game is the same. Second hypothesis compares two groups of matches. We test if there is a difference in goal dynamics of third period between the tied and untied matches after second period of the game. The results of both hypotheses could be explained by loss aversion. The last hypothesis deals with the rule changes in Czech Extraleague. There is a three point system established since season 2000/2001 for a team that wins in regular time of the game. We try to analyze if this change of rules has an influence on team tactics in the last period of the game. | en |
