Jezuitský seminář sv. Josefa v Klatovech - významná hudební instituce města a regionu

Abstract

Figurální hudební ansámbl působící při klatovském jezuitském semináři sv. Josefa představoval jedno z nejvýznamnějších hudebních těles zdejšího regionu. V prostředí města se mu co do kvality zřejmě dokázalo vyrovnat hudební těleso poutního kostela Narození Panny Marie, avšak za městskými hradbami neměli zdá se jezuitští seminaristé konkurenci. Svědčí o tom jejich četná hostování v sídlech okolní šlechty. Interpretační potenciál klatovského seminárního souboru dokládají krom intenzity hudebně-liturgického provozu řádového kostela také dochované hudebniny obsahující technicky náročné party. Seminární fundace přitahovaly do řad této instituce hudební talenty z širokého okolí a dokázaly je nadále formovat. U mnohých zdejších hudebních seminaristů rozhodl pobyt v klatovském semináři s definitivní platností o dalším nasměřování jejich životních kariér právě tímto směrem. Klatovský seminář tak byl nadregionální institucí také v oblasti hudebního vzdělávání.The figure music ensemble operating at the Klatovy Jesuit Seminary of St. Joseph was one of the most important musical ensembles in the region. In the city environment, the musical ensemble of the pilgrimage church of the Nativity of the Virgin Mary was probably able to match its quality, but outside the city walls, the Jesuit seminarians did not seem to have any competition. This is evidenced by their numerous guest appearances in the residences of the surrounding nobility. The interpretative potential of the Klatovy seminary ensemble is evidenced not only by the intensity of the musical and liturgical operation of the order's church, but also by the preserved music containing technically demanding parts. The seminary foundations attracted musical talents from a wide range of areas to the ranks of this institution and were able to continue to shape them. For many local musical seminarians, their stay in the Klatovy seminary definitively decided on the further direction of their life careers in this direction. The Klatovy seminary was thus a supra-regional institution also in the field of musical education.
