dc.description.abstractTato práce se věnuje republikánským hnutím v Austrálii a na Novém Zélandu, která usilují o změnu státoprávního uspořádání v zemi z konstituční monarchie na republiku. Zároveň zkoumá vývoj, jímž obě země prošly na cestě od kolonií po samostatnost a jejich měnící se vztah ke Spojenému království Velké Británie a severního Irska. Snaží se zodpovědět řadu otázek týkajících se republikánského hnutí, včetně otázky, proč zatím ke změně státního zřízení nedošlo a zda se tak stane v blízké budoucnosti.cs
dc.description.abstract-translatedThis work is devoted to the Republican movements in Australia and New Zealand, which seek to change the constitutional order in the country from a constitutional monarchy into a republic. It also examines the development, which both countries went through on the way from the colonies to independence and their changing relationship with the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland. This thesis seeks to answer a number of questions relating to the republican movements, including the question of why the state system did not change yet and whether this will happen in the near future.en
