dc.description.abstractBakalářská práce je zaměřena na problematiku trestu smrti a lidských práv, zejm. právo na život. Práce je členěna na teoretickou a empirickou část. V teoretické části nastíním čtenáři některé vybrané otázky antropologie práva. Dále se budu zabývat pojmem trest a samotným trestem smrti, kdy se zaměřím na jeho existenci v různých zemích světa. Budu se zaobírat taktéž vznášenými argumenty pro a proti trestu smrti, způsoby vykonání exekuce a alternativami tohoto trestu. Zaměřím se na postavení trestu smrti a lidských práv v českém právním řádu. Práce shrnuje taktéž zárodky lidských práv a jejich vývoj historií a nabízí přehled významných organizací angažujících se v oblasti lidských práv. Druhá část mé bakalářské práce je založena na kvalitativním výzkumu, konkrétně rozhovorech s respondenty. Cílem výzkumu je zjistit, co vypovídají argumenty respondentů o lidských právech v kontextu zájmů společnosti.cs
dc.description.abstract-translatedThis bachelor thesis deals with the problem of death penalty and fundamental human rights, especially right to life. The thesis is divided into two part, first is theoretical and second is empirical one. In the first part of my work, I focus on some issues. I am concern with anthropology of law, conception of punishment and death penalty itself. I focus on its existence in various countries all over the world, on arguments for and against death penalty and on alternatives to this type of punishment. I also summarize roots of human rights and their development in history and provide to the reader an overview of major organizations, that are involved in human rights. The main goal of this paper is to find out, how lay people and experts look at giving priority to interests of society over interests of individual. I achieved the goal through using qualitative methods of research, namely through interviews with respondents.en
