dc.description.abstractPráce se zabývá vlivem erótu v segmentech athénské polis - u mužů a žen. U první vrstvy obyvatel, mužů, se projevuje jednak ve fysické touze po mužích i ženách, ale také v duševní touze pouze k mužům, jejíž výsledkem je filosofická láska umožňující nahlédnutí idejí. U druhé vrstvy, a sice žen, je možná pouze fysická forma lásky s reprodukujícím biologickým účinkem. Přísně vymezený svět mužů narušují svou účastí v řečech dvě vyčtené ženy zmíněné v Platónových dialozích Menexenos a Symposion, Aspasie a Diotíma. Další ženou, vymykající se řeckým zvykům, je básnířka Sapfó, vedoucí na Lesbu svou poetickou akademii.cs
dc.description.abstract-translatedThe aim of this thesis is to determine the influence of eros on the specified socio-cultural segments in ancient Greece and namely Athenian polis. The first segment of the Greek society that is dealt with is the men. First of all eros is a sexual desire which can be directed towards both men and women, and so it leads either to mere gratification or to procreation. Second, eros is an intellectual desire which terminates in contemplating the ideas and so engenders true philosophy. The influence of eros on women is limited to the above mentioned sexual gratification only because of their marginal status in the polis. Nevertheless in Plato´s dialogues we encounter two extraordinary women ? Diotima and Aspasia ? whose social status was radically different and whose speeches Socrates delivers. Another extraordinary woman who is mentioned in this thesis is the poetess Sapho ? the head of a school on the island of Lesbos.en
