dc.description.abstractTématem této práce je věda pěstovaná u dvora posledních Rožmberků. Práce je konkrétně zaměřena na působení alchymistů ve službách Viléma z Rožmberka. První kapitola pojednává o významu šlechtických dvorů pro rozvoj evropských věd, především v raném novověku. Druhá kapitola se stručně zabývá vývojem alchymie v českém prostředí, od jejích počátků ve středověku, až po její nejvýznamnější rozkvět za vlády Rudolfa II. Ve třetí kapitole jsou reflektovány důvody, které vedly k podpoře této vědy Viléma z Rožmberka a rovněž jsou zmíněni někteří alchymisté působící v jeho službách. Čtvrtá kapitola prostřednictvím analýzy korespondence rožmberského úředníka a alchymisty Petra Hlavsy pojednává o každodenním dění v rožmberských laboratoriích. V páté kapitole je opět prostřednictvím dopisu reflektován pohled rožmberského alchymisty Bavora Rodovského z Hustiřan na osobnost a dílo Theofrasta z Hohenheimu (Paracelsa).cs
dc.description.abstract-translatedThe main theme of this thesis is science developed at the court of the last Rosenbergs. The work is focused on activities of alchemists in the service of Wilhelm von Rosenberg. The first chapter discusses the importance of aristocratic courts for the development of European science, especially in the early modern period. The second chapter deals with the development of alchemy in the Czech environment, from its beginnings in the Middle Ages, to its most significant prosperity during the period of the reign of Rudolf II. In the third chapter are reflected reasons leading Wilhelm von Rosenberg to support this science. Some alchemists engaged in his service are mentioned too. The fourth chapter through analyses of correspondence of Rosenberg's alchemist Petr Hlavsa deals with everyday life in the Rosenbergs laboratories. In the fifth chapter is reflected the view of alchemist Bavor Rodovský from Hustiřany on personality and work of Theofrastus von Hohenheim (Paracelsus).en
