dc.description.abstractBakalářská práce analyzuje transformaci energetické politiky Spojených států amerických v období vlády George W. Bushe a Baracka Obamy. Cíl práce je analyzovat proměnu energetické politiky s ohledem na zvyšující se produkci energetických zdrojů z břidlicových polí. Práce vychází ze základního předpokladu, že tento trend vede k posílení americké národní bezpečnosti. První teoretická část práce představuje základní definice, národní, energetickou a environmentální bezpečnost a jejich principy. Druhá část se věnuje přístupu obou zmíněných prezidentů a jejich vlivu na transformaci energetické politiky USA.cs
dc.description.abstract-translatedThe goal of this bachelor thesis is to analyse how the energy policy of the United States of America was transformed during the administrations of George W. Bush and Barack Obama. The first chapter of the paper is theoretical. It covers definitions and principles of energy security. I focused on the national security and energy strategies of the USA. Second part of the thesis focuses on energy policy during the republican administration of president George W. Bush and democrat Barack Obama. The conclusion of the thesis is that the current transformation of energy policy is increasing U. S. energy independence and strenthening national and energy security because of high shale production.en
