dc.description.abstractTato práce se věnuje reflexi viktoriánského období v dílech Charlese Dickense a Oscara Wilda. Konkrétně je zaměřena na romány Nadějné Vyhlídky a Obraz Doriana Graye. Ve studii jsou analyzovány specifické aspekty děl a dobové reálie, které jsou podrobeny reflexi. Reflexe obou románů a ztvárněné prvky jsou vzájemně porovnány. Komparativní část promítá nejen rozdílnost či podobnost ztvárněných přístupů (prezentující kulturně-společenské klima), ale i dynamiku viktoriánské epochy.cs
dc.description.abstract-translatedThis work is focused on the reflection of the Victorian epoch in literary works of Charles Dickens and Oscar Wilde: concretely the novels Great Expectations and Picture of Dorian Gray. In this study, we analyse specific aspects of both novels and we reflect the period facts. Then we introduce the reflection of both works and their rendering, which we compare. This part with comparison of both novels shows not only the difference or similarity in attitudes of both authors and reflecting socio-cultural climate, but it also shows the dynamics of the Victorian epoch.en
