dc.description.abstractPráce se zaměřuje na analýzu regionální mocnosti Saúdské Arábie. Cílem je zjistit, jak se geografie a mocenské kapacity Saúdské Arábie promítají do podoby její regionální politiky. Vymezeným regionem této práce je Perský záliv. Zkoumané období je od roku 1973 do 2023. Během tohoto období se událo několik události, které ovlivnily Saúdské postavení v regionu. Například ropný boom, ekonomická krize 80. let, vstoupení do mezinárodních organizací nebo vytvoření plánu Vize 30. V práci bude zkoumaná geografie, mocenské kapacity a cíle Saúdské Arábie. Toto všechno pomůže prozkoumat vztahy s vybranými zeměmi Perského zálivu. Výsledkem bude kritické vyhodnocení cíle práce.cs
dc.description.abstract-translatedThe thesis focuses on the analysis of the regional power Saudi Arabia. The aim is to find out how Saudi Arabia's geography and power capabilities translate into the shape of its regional politics. The defined region of this thesis is the Persian Gulf. The period under study is from 1973 to 2023. During this period, several events occurred that affected Saudi position in the region. For example, the oil boom, the economic crisis of the 1980s, joining international organizations, and the creation of the Vision 30 plan. This thesis will examine the geography, power capabilities, and goals of Saudi Arabia. All of this will help to explore relations with selected Gulf countries. The result will be a critical evaluation of the thesis objective.en
