dc.description.abstractObsahem mé bakalářské práce je studie o onemocnění diabetu mellitu I. typu. Popisuji první příznaky, léčení této choroby z historie až po moderní léčbu této doby. V teoretické části jsou zahrnuty základní poznatky o této chronické nemoci, zvláštní důraz je zaměřen na edukaci dětského diabetika. Ve druhé části popisuji problematiku dětského diabetu u dětí ve věku mezi 11. až 15. rokem, rozvíjím možné problémy a těžkosti spojené s dospíváním. Rovněž se zamýšlím nad možnými cestami, jak pomoci dětskému pacientovi a jeho rodině překlenout toto nesnadné období tak, aby měl svou chorobu pod kontrolou a byl co nejlépe připraven do života.cs
dc.description.abstract-translatedThe content of my bachelor thesis is the study of the Type I Diabetes Mellitus disease. The focus is on describing the first symptoms and treatment of the disease from both the historical approach to the modern treatment today. The theoretical part covers the basic facts of this chronic disease; a particular emphasis is aimed on the education of children with diabetes. The second part of the thesis discusses the Childhood Diabetes focusing on the age group between 11 and 15 years where possible problems and difficulties associated with growing up are being explored. Also, I consider possible ways to help the child patient and his family to overcome this potentially difficult period with the aim to have the disease under control and to be able to make the best of life.en
