Abstract

This article addresses the implementation of Automated Guided Vehicles (AGVs) in manufacturing and warehousing processes, focusing on the technical and procedural aspects of their integration. Key emphasis is placed on optimizing infrastructure, adapting operational layouts, and necessary process digitalization. A significant portion of the article centers on vehicle navigation technologies, which play a crucial role in automated logistics processes.One chapter is dedicated to the integration of AGVs with control systems such as Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems, highlighting their critical role in ensuring smooth and efficient operations. Another section of the article focuses on the key requirements for successful implementation, including workflow adjustments, employee training, and the introduction of safety measures that are essential for the efficiency and safety of automated logistics systems.The final section focuses on the technical requirements needed for the successful installation of AGVs, including infrastructure specifications and server environment requirements that ensure seamless operation
