dc.description.abstractV úvodní partii autor stručně pojedná o historickém vývoji lokality a přesune se k širším souvislostem vývoje Chebska po roce 1938. Ve druhé kapitole přiblíží příchod US Army do regionu a přiblíží dobytí Chebu. Třetí analytická kapitola se pokusí zrekonstruovat samotný střet u Těšova ve světle písemných a archeologických pramenů při zvážení dobových taktických bojových strategií a výzbroje. V závěru se dotkne i obrazu události v poválečném období až do současnosti.cs
dc.description.abstract-translatedIn the opening part, the author briefly discusses the historical development of the locality and moves to the broader context of the development of Cheb after 1938. In the second chapter, he describes the arrival of the US Army in the region and the conquest of Cheb. The third analytical chapter will attempt to reconstruct the firefight at Těšov itself in the light of written and archaeological sources while considering the period's tactical combat strategies and armaments. In the end, he touches on the image of the event in the post-war period up to the present.en
