dc.description.abstractStudie se zabývá životem a dílem historika Edwarda Augusta Freemana. Práce je rozdělena do dvou částí. První část obsahuje Freemanovu biografii a současně mapuje historický a ideologický kontext. V druhé části jsou kriticky analyzována Freemanova vybraná díla a myšlenky. Práce se zaměřuje především na Freemanovu metodu studia a koncepci dějin, rasovou teorii a tzv. Východní otázku, která zahrnuje problematiku Židů.cs
dc.description.abstract-translatedThe study deals with the life and work of the historian Edward Augustus Freeman. Thesis is divided into two parts. The first part contains Freeman's biography and also maps the historical and ideological context. In the second part are critically analyzed Freeman's selected works and thoughts. The work is mainly focused on Freeman's method of study and conception of history, racial theory and the Eastern question, which comprises Jewish issue.en
