| dc.description.abstract | Tato bakalářská práce se věnuje rozvoji medicíny ve středověkém regionu al-Andalus. Nejprve se pokouší nastínit historický vývoj tohoto regionu a následně popisuje počátky rozvoje středověké medicíny v tomto regionu. Popisuje hodnotu arabských překladů a poté samotný rozvoj - zakládání nemocnic a vznik nových oborů. V neposlední řádě jsou v práci zmíněny osobnosti, které se v období středověku zasloužily o velké pokroky na poli medicíny a ovlivnily tak její následný vývoj. Poslední část ve stručnosti popisuje vliv zde nabytých poznatků na evropské lékařství a popisuje překladatelskou činnost v Toledu, díky které se tyto poznatky šířily do Evropy. | cs |
| dc.description.abstract-translated | This bachelor work focuses on development of medicine in medieval region - al-Andalus. First of all it attempts to outline the historical development of the region and describes the beginnings of the development of medieval medicine in this region. It describes the value of Arabic translations and then itself development - the establishment of hospitals and the emergence of new disciplines. Last but not least the work as well talks about personalities who in the Middle Ages contributed to major advances in the medical field and affected its subsequent development. The last section briefly describes the influence of here acquired knowledge on the European medicine and describes translation activity in Toledo, by which this knowledge spread to Europe. | en |
