Testing of Some Performance of Insulating System with Biodegradable Ester

Abstract

The comparative study of the aging processes of cellulose paper and Nomex® paper in biodegradable insulating fluids in various condition is of importance to the electrical engineering field, particularly in the development and maintenance of sustainable high-voltage insulation systems. This research investigates the aging behavior of these insulation materials when immersed in eco-friendly, biodegradable fluids, aiming to evaluate their longevity and performance under various operational stress. Electrical insulating systems based on synthetic, natural and mineral oil are compared when solid part is created by cellulose and aramid paper.
