dc.description.abstractTato práce se zabývá transformací Armády České republiky. Hlavním zájmovým obdobím je vymezeno roky 1998 - 2012. Je zde představen vývoj ozbrojených sil Československé republiky a ozbrojených sil České republiky. Jsou zde představeny hlavní strategické dokumenty, které měly zásadní vliv na podobu Armády České republiky z hlediska její velikosti, vybavení a schopností. Dále je zde představen institucionální rámec v němž Armáda České republiky fungovala. Je zde popsán postup uvedení do praxe klíčových strategických rozhodnutí. Na závěr je zhodnoceno politické zadání pro Armádu České republiky z hlediska jeho adekvátnosti k bezpečnostním potřebám České republiky.cs
dc.description.abstract-translatedThis thesis deals with the transformation of the Army of the Czech Republic. The main interest is defined by period 1998 - 2012. There is presented the development of the Armed Forces of the Czechoslovak Republic and the Armed Forces of the Czech Republic. It presents the main strategic documents that had a profound influence on the Army of the Czech Republic in terms of its size, equipment and capabilities. There is also introduced institutional framework in which the Army of the Czech Republic work. It also describes the procedure of puting into practice the key strategic decisions. Finally, it assesses political task for the Army of the Czech Republic in terms of its adequacy to the security needs of the Czech Republic.en
