Augmented Reality in Industrial applications

Abstract

The objective of this paper is to demonstrate the design and implementation of methods for interactive visualization of dynamic spatial data in augmented and mixed reality (AR/XR) using Microsoft HoloLens 2. The visualized data encompasses not only robot work zones and sensor data, but also a plethora of additional information pertaining to the devices and the environment. Data can be measured or generated dynamically. The development of software modules facilitates the real-time viewing and interaction with data by users. The emphasis is placed on efficient data transfer between physical devices and augmented reality (AR) headsets, integration of gesture control, and development of ergonomic user interfaces customized for industrial applications.
