Zároveň usiluje o to, zhodnotit Humboldtův význam v dějinách geografie jako moderní vědy. Autorka usiluje o to, přiblížit osobnost Alexandra von Humboldta, jeho vědecké názory a rozsáhlý vliv na okolí.cs

The author tries to present the personality of Alexander von Humboldt, his scientific views and extensive influence on his surroundings.en
