dc.description.abstractCílem práce je odhadnout délku ruky z kostí ruky na základě anatomické metody. Materiál se sestává z RTG snímků 50 mužů a 50 žen z České republiky. Na snímcích je měřena jak délka ruky, tak rozměry jednotlivých kostí prostředního paprsku ruky. Délky jednotlivých kostí jsou sečteny do tzv. délky kostry ruky, která je pomocí regresní analýzy vztažena k délce celé ruky. Přínos metody souvisí s odhadem pohlaví autorů paleolitických nástěnných maleb.cs
dc.description.abstract-translatedThe aim of this thesis is estimation of hand length from hand bones using the anatomical method. We measured hand length and hand bones from x-rays. The analysis is based on 100 radiographs of women's and men's hands from recent population in the Czech republic, Plzen. We managed to find relationship between hand length and length of hand bones using regression analysis. Benefits using this method can be related to the sex estimation from handprints in prehistoric cave art.en
