dc.description.abstractBakalářská práce se zaměřuje na politický život Margaret Thatcher, a to zejména na její působení ve funkci britské premiérky v letech 1979-1990. Dále se zabývá tím, čemu se věnovala po svém mandátu, vztahy s manželem a americkým prezidentem Ronaldem Reaganem. Skrz populární kulturu je analyzován film Železná Lady a vybrané písně týkající se Margaret Thatcher a kritiky její politiky.cs
dc.description.abstract-translatedThis thesis deals with the political life of Margaret Thatcher and mainly concentrates on her three terms as Prime Minister between 1979 and 1990. It is then focused on her life after politics and relationship with her husband and American President Ronal Reagan. From the field of popular culture, the film, The Iron Lady and also selected songs concerning criticism of her policies, are analysed.en
