dc.description.abstractPráce se zabývá stoickým pojetím osudu a jeho vztahem a případným negativním dopadem na stoické etické zásady. První část charakterizuje nejvýznamnější stoické etické principy včetně pojmů ctnosti a špatnosti, vykreslení člověka jako racionální bytosti či ideálu mudrce. Následně se práce věnuje nejdůležitějším tématům a problémům vztahujícím se ke stoickému pohledu na osud a svobodu lidského jednání, především odpovědi stoiků na kritiku jejich pojetí osudu, otázce determinace lidského charakteru s ohledem na stoický důraz na význam výchovy a vzdělání, definici "toho, co je v naší moci" nebo stoickému vnímání pojmu svobody a obhajobě lidské jedinečnosti a morální odpovědnosti.cs
dc.description.abstract-translatedThe aim of this work is to characterize the Stoic concept of fate and its relation to and possible negative impact on the Stoic ethics. At first it is concerned with the most important principles of the Stoic ethical theory, such as the moral virtue and depravation, the emphasis on human rationality or the ideal of wise man. The following part of this work then deals with the most significant themes and problems relating to the Stoic view on fate and freedom of human action, in particular the Stoic response to the criticism of their theory of fate, the question of determination of human character with regard to the Stoic emphasis on the importance of upbringing and education, the definition of "that what is in our power" or the Stoic view on the conception of freedom and the defence of human individuality and moral responsibility.en
