dc.description.abstractTato bakalářská práce se zabývá překladem vybraných textů vztahujících se k francouzské gastronomii. Cílem práce je popsat teorii překladu a jejích základních prvků a poté ji aplikovat v praxi přeložením vybraných textů - dvou psaných anglicky a jednoho česky. Práce je rozdělena do dvou hlavních částí. Teoretická část se týká přehledu překládání a jeho typů, technik, metod a procedur a také funkčních stylů v angličtině. Praktická část obsahuje překlady tří vybraných textů doplněných komentáři a glosáři. Zdrojové texty jsou umístěny v přílohách.cs
dc.description.abstract-translatedThis bachelor thesis deals with the translation of selected texts related to French gastronomy. The aim of this thesis is to describe the theory of translation and its basics and then to apply it into practice by translation of the chosen texts - two written in English and one in Czech. The thesis is divided into two main parts. The theoretical part is concerned with the overview of translating and its types, techniques, methodes and procedures and also functional styles in English. The practical part contains the translations of three selected texts complemented by commentaries and glossaries. The source texts are enclosed in the appendices.en
