| dc.description.abstract-translated | In my research I will deal with the specifics of the foreign policy of Brazil, which are determined by its ambition to establish itself as a new global superpower in international relations and its aspirations for changing international political and economic order according to its worth paradigm. I will point out its original soft power approach in its foreign policy, which is reflected by active presidential diplomacy, intensive regional policy, global energy geopolitics, specific geostrategic trade policy, nuclear diplomacy, its policy in the field of international institutions and groupings and its foreign policy engagement in the field of international policy issues. All these aspects I will explain in relation to the foreign policy of the BRICS grouping of states in which Brazil is member state and forms immanent determining broader context of foreign policy behavior of Brazil. The main aim of my research will be mainly to analyze in detail the changing geopolitical position of Brazil in the region and the world and based on empirical facts which will be discovered, to find out whether Brazil is capable to transform the international system according to its values and identity. | en |
