dc.description.abstractBakalářská práce pojednává o epidemii HIV/AIDS ve státech a svazových teritoriích Indie mezi roky 2008-2016. Popisuje klíčové aspekty šíření viru v oblasti Indického subkontinentu pomocí běžných epidemiologických indikátorů, jako jsou prevalence nebo incidence. Tyto výsledky jsou odvozeny na základě analýzy kvantitativních dat pomocí statistických a geografických metod. Práce se soustředí především na prevalenci rizikových skupin, těhotných žen a také na potřebu a dostupnost antiretrovirové léčby. Poslední kapitola se snaží najít souvislosti mezi HIV prevalencí a některými socioekonomickými ukazateli.cs
dc.description.abstract-translatedThis bachelor thesis follows up the HIV/AIDS epidemic in the states and union territories of India between 2008 and 2016. It describes the key aspects of the virus spread in the region of the Indian subcontinent using the common epidemiological indicators, such as prevalence or incidence. These results are based on the analysis of the quantitative data using the statistical and geographical methods. The main focus of the thesis is on the prevalence of the high-risk groups, pregnant women and also on the need and the availability of the antiretroviral treatment. The last chapter tries to find a relationship between the HIV prevalence and some socioeconomic indicators.en
