dc.description.abstractDiplomová práce pojednává o posledním období "života" Svaté říše římské národa německého. Po objasnění, co to vlastně Svatá říše římská byla, poskytuje náhled do politické a právní kultury Říše před jejím zhroucením roku 1806. Pozornost věnuje problémům, se kterými se Říše musela potýkat, a odhaluje faktory, které přispěly k zániku tohoto tisíciletého politického útvaru. V osmnáctém století rostlo napětí uvnitř Říše a o vnější tlak se postarala revoluční Francie. Práce také popisuje, jakým způsobem se německé státy vypořádaly se ztrátou území v západním Porýní a jak se změnilo vnitřní uspořádání Říše tři roky před jejím rozpuštěním. Závěr práce obsahuje cestu německých států k vytvoření Německého spolku, který Svatou říši římskou nahradil.cs
dc.description.abstract-translatedThe thesis deals with the last period of the "life" of the Holy Roman Empire of the German nation. After clarifying what the Holy Roman Empire was, it provides insight into the political and legal culture of the Empire before its collapse in 1806. It draws attention to the problems the Empire had to deal with and reveals the factors that contributed to the demise of this millennial political entity. In the eighteenth century, tensions within the Empire grew and revolutionary France took care of external pressure. The work also describes how the German states dealt with the loss of territory in the West Rhine and how the internal organization of the Empire changed three years before its dissolution. The conclusion of the thesis contains the path of the German states to the creation of the German Confederation, which replaced the Holy Roman Empire.en
