dc.description.abstractTato bakalářská práce je zaměřena na kanadskou roli ve sporu o Arktidu. Práce se zabývá teritoriálními spory mezi státy arktické pětky, a především se soustředí na kanadskou zahraniční politiku v období vlády konzervativní strany, od roku 2006 až do pádu této vlády. Cílem této práce je určit, k jakému posunu v kanadské zahraniční politice došlo po nástupu premiéra Stephen Harpera k moci, čeho se snažil dosáhnout a jaký postoj zaujímal k Arktidě. Práce se také zabývá Arktickou radou a zbrojením arktických států v oblasti Arktidy.cs
dc.description.abstract-translatedThis bachelor thesis is focused on Canada's role in the dispute over the Arctic. The thesis deals with the territorial disputes between the states of Arctic five, and primarily focuses on Canadian foreign policy during the reign of the Conservative Party from 2006. The aim of this thesis is to determine the shift in Canadian foreign policy after Prime Minister Stephen Harper came to power, what he tried to achieve, and what position he took towards the Arctic. The thesis also describes the Arctic Council and the armament of the Arctic states in the Arctic region.en
