dc.description.abstractDiplomová práce je tematicky zaměřena na nejstarší monastickou řeholi v českých zemích Řád sv. Benedikta. Prezentuje historické a kulturně společenské aspekty monastického způsobu života benediktinů. Každodenní život v klášteře podle tradic Benediktovy řehole je popsán v historickém období od středověku po současnost. Práce poukazuje na problémy v průběhu existence klášterů z hlediska historických a politických souvislostí (středověký vývoj, husitská doba, josefínské reformy, perzekuce řeholníků v období komunismu. V závěru je představen současný život v klášteře a poslání benediktinské řehole v dnešní společnosti.cs
dc.description.abstract-translatedThe thesis is thematically focused on the oldest monastic rule in the czech lands Order of Saint Benedict. It presents historical and cultural social aspects of the monastic life of the Benedictines. According to the traditions of the daily life in the monastery Benedict's rule is described in the period from the Middle Ages to the present. The thesis points to problems during the lifetime of the monasteries of the historical and political context (the medieval development, Hussite period, Josephine reform, persecution of friars in communism). In conclusion, it introduced contemporary life in today´s society.en
