dc.description.abstractTato bakalářská práce se zaměřuje na nejstarší dochovanou architektonickou památku Mostecka - kostel sv. Jakuba Většího ve vsi Bedřichův Světec. Podrobně mapuje nejen architektonický vývoj této sakrální stavby, ale i její historické, kulturní a náboženské kontexty. Zvláštní pozornost je věnována nejranějším dějinám kostela od první třetiny 13. století, přičemž práce čerpá z bohaté pramenné základny, zahrnující mimo jiné edice středověkých listin, soudních akt i archeologických zpráv. Součástí práce je také analýza freskové výzdoby interiéru kostela, jež je významným dokladem vývoje středověkého a raně novověkého náboženského umění v regionu. Práce přináší nové terénní poznatky z vlastního výzkumu provedeného v roce 2025 a doplňuje je rozhovorem s pamětníkem a členem spolku pro obnovu kostela, který se zasadil o obnovu stavby. Práce dále shrnuje moderní dějiny objektu, jeho rekonstrukce, a hodnotí současný stav stavby. Vedle samotného kostela se práce okrajově věnuje také zaniklému šlechtickému sídlu v Bedřichově Světci a historii samotné obce. Dalším tématem je rovněž zpracování dosud nepublikovaných archeologických nálezů.cs
dc.description.abstract-translatedThis bachelor thesis focuses on the oldest preserved architectural monument in Most - the Church of St. James the Greater in the village of Bedřichův Světec. It maps in detail not only the architectural development of this sacral building, but also its historical, cultural and religious context. Particular attention is paid to the earliest history of the church from the first third of the 13th century onwards, drawing on a rich source base including, among other things, editions of medieval documents, court records and archaeological reports. The thesis also includes an analysis of the fresco decoration of the church interior, which is an important evidence of the development of medieval and early modern religious art in the region. The thesis presents new field findings from research carried out in 2025 and complements them with an interview with a life-long resident and member of the association for the restoration of the church, which advocated the renovation of the building. The work also summarizes the modern history of the church, its reconstruction, and assesses the current state of the building. In addition to the church itself, the work also focuses on the noble residence that used to stand in Bedřichův Světec and the history of the village itself. Another topic is also the evaluation of previously unpublished archaeological findings.en
