| dc.description.abstract | Práce se zabývá problematikou zlatého standardu v první polovině 20. století. Jedná se především o vývoj situace v USA a vybraných západoevropských zemích. V první části práce je rozebrán průběh vývoje peněz a vznik zlatého standardu. Ve druhé části se práce zaměřuje zejména na meziválečné období s velkým důrazem na hospodářskou krizi. V poslední části se věnuje problematice Brettonwoodského systému. Cílem práce je přiblížit tuto problematiku s cílem poukázat na to jak státy snadno manipulovali se zlatým standardem, popřípadě zcela rušili, ale který se přitom zavázali dodržovat.
