dc.description.abstractTato diplomová práce se věnuje soudnictví na území jižního Plzeňska v letech 1848-1938. Úvodní kapitola nabízí stručný přehled vývoje této právnické profese, včetně právní úpravy, organizace, příslušnosti a působnosti soudů i samotné profese soudce. Následující část vymezuje pojem jižní Plzeňsko, popisuje území současného okresu Plzeň-jih, správní organizaci daného období a přibližuje stručnou historii měst, v nichž sídlily okresní soudy, tedy Blovic, Dobřan, Nepomuku, Přeštic a Stodu. Tato kapitola se rovněž věnuje demografickým proměnám a národnostnímu složení regionu v daném období. Závěrečná část se zaměřuje na konkrétní soudy jižního Plzeňska, jejich historii, personální obsazení a agendu, včetně vybraných civilních a trestních případů. Představuje také významné osobnosti soudnictví. Práci doplňuje rozsáhlá příloha s přehledem obcí spadajících do obvodů těchto okresních soudů, tabulkami a dalším obrázkovým materiálem.cs
dc.description.abstract-translatedThis thesis deals with the judiciary in the southern Pilsen region between 1848 and 1938. The introductory chapter provides a brief overview of the development of this legal profession, including legal regulation, organization, jurisdiction, competence of the courts and the proffesion of judge. The next part defines the term "southern Pilsen region", describes the territory of the current Pilsen-South district, the administrative organization in these years and provides a brief history of the towns where the district courts were located. The district courts were situated in the towns of Blovice, Dobřany, Nepomuk, Přeštice a Stod. This chapter also deals with demographic changes and the ethnic composition of the region between 1848 and 1938. The last part focuses on specific courts in the southern Pilsen region, their history, staffing and agenda, including selected civil and criminal cases. The chapter concludes with an introduction to the personalities of the judiciary. The thesis also includes an extensive attachment with an overview of the municipalities belonging to the districts of these courts, tables and other illustrative material.en
