dc.description.abstractTato bakalářská práce se zabývá vývojem transatlantických vztahů po teroristických útocích z 11. září 2001 s ohledem na existenci konceptu atlantického řádu popsaného profesorem mezinárodních vztahů Charlesem A. Kupchanem v roce 2006. Důležitou roli ve vývoji transatlantických vztahů hrála spolupráce v rámci Severoatlantické aliance a s ní spojené krize, dále mezinárodní konflikty nebo společná rizika, kterým spojenci od roku 2001 čelili. Cílem práce je představit klíčové události, které měly po roce 2001 vliv na vývoj vztahů mezi Spojenými státy americkými a Evropou. Události jsou popsány na základě vlivu na proměnu jednotlivých charakteristických rysů atlantického řádu. Hlavním cílem je především prokázat, zda se naplnil pesimistický předpoklad Charlese A. Kupchana o tom, že po roce 2001 dojde k postupnému oslabení vazeb v rámci atlantického řádu.cs
dc.description.abstract-translatedThis thesis examines the evolution of transatlantic relations after the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001, in regard of the concept of the Atlantic Order described by Professor of International Relations Charles A. Kupchan in 2006. Cooperation within the North Atlantic Treaty Organization and the crises associated with it, as well as international conflicts or common risks that the allies have faced since 2001, have played an important role in the development of transatlantic relations. The aim of this thesis is to present the key events that have had an impact on the development of relations between the United States and Europe after 2001. The events are described on the basis of their impact on the transformation of the various characteristics of the Atlantic order. Above all, the main objective is to prove whether the pessimistic assumption made by Charles A. Kupchan about gradual weakening of ties within the Atlantic Order after 2001 was correct.en
