This paper addresses the increasing global emphasis on environmental protection across various sectors, particularly in education related to electrical engineering, electronics, mechatronics, and automation. It highlights the need for retraining individuals transitioning from the mining industry to high-tech sectors that focus on environmentally sustainable technologies. The paper discusses an international initiative under the Erasmus+ Strategic Partnership program to develop a platform for such retraining courses. Key project goals, outcomes, and the broader impact of this educational initiative on environmental awareness are also explored.en
