dc.description.abstractDizertační práce se zabývá problematikou replikací v distribuovaných souborových systémech a v hierarchických DFS. Mobilní zařízení kladou nové požadavky na funkcionalitu distribuovaného souborového systému. Počet replik významným způsobem ovlivňuje přístup k nejnovějším datům pro velké množství klientů v geograficky rozsáhlých oblastech. Dizertační práce navrhuje nový algoritmus pro určení vhodného počtu a umístění replik za účelem zvýšení výkonu celého systému.cs
dc.description.abstract-translatedThis dissertation thesis deals with the problem of replication in distributed and distributed hierarchical file systems. The use of mobile clients places new demands on the functionality of a distributed file system. The number of replicas fundamentally affects access to the latest data for a large number of clients over a geographically large area. This thesis proposes a new algorithm to help determine the appropriate location and number of replicas to improve system performance.en
