dc.description.abstractCílem této bakalářské práce je ověřit, že W. E. B. Du Bois založil první sociologickou školu v USA. Dokazuji to čtyřmi tvrzeními. Nejprve program jeho školy, který popisuji ve druhé kapitole. Za druhé, metodologický model jeho školy považuji za jeho dílo "The Philadelphia Negro", které jsem popsal ve stejnojmenné kapitole. Za třetí, představení jeho spolupracovníků a následovníků a jejich výzkum, popsaný ve čtvrté kapitole. Za čtvrté a poslední prohlášení: reakce na jeho sociologii dnes. Jako příklad ilustruji tvrzení dvou známých autorů, Aldona Morrisa a Roberta W. Williamse.cs
dc.description.abstract-translatedThe aim of this bachelor thesis is to verify that W. E. B. Du Bois founded the first sociological school in the USA. I prove this with four statements. First, the program of his school, which I describe in the second chapter. Secondly, the methodological model of his school, I consider this his work "The Philadelphia Negro," which I described in the chapter of the same name. Third, the introduction of his collaborators and followers and their research, described in the fourth chapter. Fourth, and final statement: the response to his sociology today. As an example, I illustrate the claims of two well-known authors, Aldon Morris and Robert W. Williams.en
