dc.description.abstract-translatedThe paper is focused on the legal regulation of fixed-term employment. The author critically evaluates the current decision-making practice of high courts (The Supreme Court and the Constitutional Court). In addition, the author presents his considerations de lege ferenda. Furthermore, the paper is focused to selected points of the draft of the current amendment to the Labour Code. Specifically, it focuses on the proposal to change the legal regulation of the probationary period, the notice period or the delivery of documents to the employee in his own hands
